Norwegian film-maker and adman. He was a political activist both before and after WWII, espcially doing propaganda. Early on he became a member of Nasjonal Samling, the fascist party founded by Vidkun Quisling. During WWII Fyrst was an officer in the Schutzstaffel. After the war he was convicted in the legal purge in Norway after World War II. After three years in prison he started working for the former resistance fighter and decorated war hero Max Manus. He also established his own film company, Fokus-Film, which produced advertising films, and soon he became the biggest producer of ad films in the country. In 1965, aged 64, he began working at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation and headed some 80 TV productions. Fyrst died on 22 February 1993. He was 91. Link to Wikipedia biography
