Italian film and television actress, a character actor in the post-war period, who starred opposite the great Italian actors of the time. She played, among other roles, the mother of bersagliere (Gina Lollobrigida) in both "Pane, amore e gelosia sia" (Bread, Love and Jealousy) and "Pane, amore e fantasia" (Bread, Love and Dreams). Another role was as Lucia, sister of Totò and Peppino De Filippo in "Totò, Peppino e la... malafemmina." On television, she starred in 1958's "Il teatro dei ragazzi" (The Theatre of the Boys), one of the first programs of fiction intended for a young audience. She also starred in "Operazione San Gennaro" with Toto and Nino Manfredi, in 1966. She died in Naples on 24 December 1973. Link to Wikipedia biography (Italian)
