First Lady of the Philippines, becoming the youngest bearer of the title in 1948 at the age of 16, because her father, President Elpidio Quirino, was a widower. Her mother, Alicia Syquía, as well as three siblings, were all massacred in 1945 by the Japanese during the Japanese Occupation. Victoria was the first Presidential daughter to be wed in the Palace when she married her first husband, Luís "Chito" Gonzales. In 1986, she campaigned with other presidential daughters to have foreign governments withdraw recognition of the regime of President Ferdinand E. Marcos. Quirino-Delgado was also prominent in gatherings against President Joseph Ejercito Estrada in the late 1990s. She died on 29 November 2006, at the age of 75. Link to Wikipedia biography
