Mexican troubadour and composer, who wrote the music of the song "Peregrina" (1922), with lyrics by the poet Luis Rosado Vega. "Peregrina" is a famous song of the Yucatan known throughout the world. Luis Rosado Vega wrote the lyrics in dedication to the North American journalist Alma Reed, at the request of the governor of Yucatan, Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
