Norwegian sculptor. Among his works are the bronze group "Mor og barn" ('Mother and Child') at the City Hall Square in Oslo, and "Gudolf" at the National Gallery. He made several sculptures of ballerinas and foals. In 1937 he married sculptress Asbjørg Borgfelt. His brother was writer and music critic Hans Jørgen Hurum. Per Hurum died on 5 December 1989.
