Italian circus performer and film and theatre actor. Scion of the well-known Orfei circus dynasty, Nando Orfei performed from an early age as an actor, comedian, trainer, juggler and clown in family shows. His cinematic experiences occurred in only four films, two of which were directed by Federico Fellini. In Amarcord (1973), he gave an extraordinary performance in the role of Titta's uncle. He was the brother of Liana Orfei; cousin of Moira Orfei; father of Paride, Gioia and Ambra Orfei; and was married from 1963 to Anita Gambarutti. He died on 7 October 2014 in Milan, at age 80, after a long illness. Link to Wikipedia biography (Italian)
