Shravana: The Star of Learning (Capricorn 10 00’ to 23 20’). Shravana is formed by three stars in the head of the Eagle constellation, Aquilla.

Shravana is derived from sankrit word sru which translates as “the hearing” or 'listening', with its primary symbol being an ear. It is a deva, or godly nakshatra that has the capacity to hear the astral sounds of Krishna’s flute, and the celestial bells or the cosmic Om. Shravana is also connected with the peepal tree where Buddha attained enlightenment through listening to the voice of divine within. This is the star of listening, also called the "Star of Learning".
