American homicide victim, long believed to be the last victim of Boston Strangler Albert DeSalvo. Killed on 1/04/1964, the case was still not entirely confirmed 35 years later, when both families, those of Mary Ann Sullivan and of De Salvo, were asking for DNA testing to determine if it was he who had raped and killed the young woman, one of his alleged 13 victims. The results do not cast any light on who the Boston Strangler is, but they do reveal that it was not De Salvo who killed Mary Anne.
