German film actress of the silent era who appeared in more than 20 movies between 1918 and 1931. These movies included comedies, thrillers, adventure films and melodramas. In addition, she also appeared on the stage in Berlin, especially in revues. Immediately after the National Socialists (Nazis) took power in 1933, she emigrated to London, where she ran a small boarding school in Paddington, which became the meeting place of German-speaking emigrants.
