Norwegian actor and singer. Active from the 1940s, he was known from many stage roles, especially as "Tevye" in Fiddler on the Roof and as "Skipper Worse" in the mini-series Skipper Worse based on the novel by Alexander Kielland. Kolstad was also known for his baritone voice. Kolstad was married twice, first to actress Randi Ballestad, and then to actress Bab Christensen. He had a twin brother, Iver, who was an aircraft engineer. His older brother Henki Kolstad was also an actor. Kolstad died on 14 January 2012 in Oslo, Norway. He was 90. Link to Wikipedia biography
