German actress and singer who made her debut in 1897 and was seen on Berlin stages until after World War II. In the early German silent film era, Ida Perry began in main roles, later becoming a popular supporting actress. After the Second World War, she worked in radio plays for the RIAS. She was married to the actor Rudolf Ander (Andersch). Her daughter Charlotte Ander also became a noted actress. Ida Perry died in Berlin on 21 June 1966, aged 89. Link to Wikipedia biography (German)
