Norwegian actor who worked at Det nye teater for over 50 years. He was the son of actor Thorleif Reiss. His aunt Elisabeth was a stage actress. He began his career in 1948 with a minor role in the low budget film "Den hemmelighetsfulle leiligheten" ('The mysterious apartment') and remained active until his death. He provided the Norwegian voice for the main character "Carl Fredricksen" in the dubbed version of the movie "Up" months before his death. Reiss provided the voice for "Cogsworth" in Disney's 1991 animated film "Beauty and the Beast." Despite starring in more than thirty films, he was mostly known for his role as "Professor Drøvel" in the first season of "Brødrene Dal" ('The Dal Brothers') and reprised his role in a small cameo in the fourth series, 27 years later. During his later years he also starred in the Norwegian soap opera Hotel Cæsar. Reiss died on 11 November 2009, aged 77. Link to Wikipedia biography
