Story of person and major life events assoicated with this KundaliAustralian astrologer, well respected. She was known for her tireless work to help out students and old timers alike. Raised as a tomboy who never hesitated to try anything, Gwen is an ancestor of the first NSW premier Mr. Caruthers as well as the granddaughter of a minister. Her dad died in 1943. She met John Stoney in September 1946 and they married in February 1947; they had one daughter. She was widowed in 1953. In 1963, Gwen discovered astrology and soon joined the NSW committee to be part of the newly formed FAA, July 1971. Gwen moved to Lane Cove in April 1974 where she settled permanently. Her support was legendary to the developing Australian astrology, earning her many awards in Australia and Overseas, including high distinctions in Cosmobiology. With her study of all branches of astrology she was especially taken with organizing the Vedic Council. Known as kind and always helpful, she befriended many. As she was discreet, many never knew that she had the gift of clairvoyance and healing as a Reiki Master. After a short battle with cancer, she died, 4/23/1999, 10:20 AM, Sidney, Australia.
