American writer, whose work includes poetry, short stories, novels, a play, and an autobiography. In 1930 he received the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry for his Selected Poems. He was married three times, and the father of the writers John Aiken, Jane Aiken Hodge and Joan Aiken. Conrad Aiken died on 17 August 1973 at age 84 in Savannah, Georgia. Link to Wikipedia biography
