Rolf Baltensperger

Swiss computer scientist with a strong interest in astrology, President of the Swiss Astroforum SAF since 2002. Baltensperger works full-time as a computer scientist for an insurance company. He has been working in astrology since 1989. In 1994, he began an astrological training at the Swiss Astroforum (SAF), graduating as a certified astrological consultant and course instructor at SAF, which he took over in 2002. Baltensperger also trained as a certified chirologist (SCV) with the Swiss Chirological Association. Baltensperger represents what he calls integral astrology on a cosmobiological basis. By this he understands the union of a material astrology with the psychological and the spiritual astrology, since he considers first responsible for the physical, second for the mental and third for the mental interests. His specialties are hourly astrology and Indian astrology as well as astronomy. Since 2006 he has also been the second chairman of the VDA, the umbrella organisation of German-speaking astrological associations, and since 2007 he has been its chairman.
