Princess of Greece and Denmark, as the eldest child and daughter of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice of Battenberg. She was the first great-great-grandchild of Queen Victoria, and the eldest sister of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (husband of Queen Elizabeth II). Margarita married Prince Gottfried of Hohenlohe-Langenburg on 20 April 1931 in Langenburg, Germany. Six children were born of their marriage, all of whom were styled as His/Her Serene.
