American pro astrologer, a frequent lecturer at AFA. Mike began doing charts in 1961 and taking clients in 1964, still working professionally in 1998. Mike was an intelligent woman with a vast command of the lore, aided by common sense. She did not suffer fools and may have intimidated some with her brusque manner and strong opinions, but her bluntness was tempered with a love of astrology and a sincere care for her clients. Mike was an only child, raised in the Catskills of New York until age 15 when she moved with her family to Chicago. She married Earl W. Cramton, SR. and they had two sons, Earl Jr and Harry. In 1952 they moved to Tulsa where Mike was introduced to astrology through a local Theosophy study group. Astrology caught her interest, and she started taking classes locally from Clarence Turner. She also extensively studied the works of Evangeline Adams. When she started doing readings, her practice was to do them only for those who provided a referral from a mutual friend or another client. This led to her accumulating a large retinue of clients who returned to her year after year. Horary astrology was another area of her expertise. From 1948, Mike had worn a prosthesis due to the loss of one leg. She had a severe heart attack on 1/06/2002 at her home in Tulsa, 9:00 AM CST. She had bypass surgery at the nearby hospital but had been left with 50% brain damage. Her son Harry noted that she had refused life-support or extended measures, so she was allowed to move on peacefully on 2/05/2002.
