American astrologer, handsome and personable. Gay, George contracted AIDS and died in May 1995. When he was four, his family moved to Louisiana, December 1952. His paternal granddad died on 11/17/1963, a painful loss. On 8/31/1970 he moved to New York City to attend NYU but quit three months later. In October 1977, he moved to San Francisco, CA. His mom and dad separated at that time and divorced a year later. He recalls 1978 as being a low point, a rotten year. George had sex play when he was 14 but his play-partner told his folks and the boys were humiliated. He was sexually active from age 16. He first had therapy the Fall 1969, group therapy 1971-73 and with a female doctor 1973-74. He was always a sensitive boy and found the world a harsh, unforgiving place. George had a steady partner for three months in Nov 1973 but it was a disappointing relationship. He had a brief relationship April to August 1982. He started a good upswing in August 1980 when he began work for an insurance firm but was fired on 1/24/1984. The best financial year was 1982. He moved to Los Angeles on 6/28/1984 and began work for DuPont on 9/01/1984. He made his first trip to Europe in June 1982, a wonderful experience. George studied astrology in the '80s and '90s and was a member of ISAR. From attending AIDS support groups, he passed out a questionnaire from Lois Rodden and was able to contribute excellent data to the databank. His own last few years were difficult as he moved back east to live with his dad when he could no longer hold his job. It was much too difficult a relationship for them both and he returned to California to do his dying on his own with the support of friends and AIDS groups. The last few letters sent to him were returned in mid-1995.
