Life Story

Story of person and major life events assoicated with this Kundali

American astronaut who was a USAF fighter pilot from 1951 to 1953, Assistant Professor of Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics at West Point from 1957 to 1960 and a Test pilot at the USAF Aerospace School from 1960 to 1962. He was Commander of the Gemini 7 spacecraft on 4 December 1965 and Commander of Apollo 8 on 21 December 1968. Borman retired from the USAF as a colonel in July 1970 to become vice-president of Eastern Airlines. Borman retired from Eastern in June 1986. Following John Glenn's death in December 2016, Borman became the oldest living American astronaut. Link to Wikipedia biography
