American business manager, a former vice chairman of Hilton Hotels Corporation, who was the youngest son of magnate Conrad N. Hilton. He began his career with Hilton Hotels in 1949 and held a number of management positions throughout the country. Prior to his election to vice chairman in 1993, Hilton served as executive vice president and a director of the corporation and as president and a director of Conrad International Hotels. Eric Hilton also served on the boards of the Little League Foundation and Three Square, a nonprofit organization that collects and distributes food in Southern Nevada and he was chairman of the board of the BEST Foundation. Hilton and his first wife, Patricia Shipworth, had four children: Eric M. Hilton, Jr., Beverly Hilton-Neapolitan, Linda Hilton-Buschini, and Joseph Bradley Hilton.
