French actress and playwright, also known as Simone Sans-Jollivet. She was the companion of Charles Dullin and the mistress of Jean-Paul Sartre. Sartre's letters to her were published in Lettres au Castor and a few others (she bears the nickname "Toulouse"). She also appears under the pseudonym of "Camille" in the books of Simone de Beauvoir. She appeared in various plays and a small role in François Truffaut's Les Quatre Hundred Coups. She wrote, under the name of Simone Camille Sans, the tragedy in 2 acts, L'Ombre, presented at the Théâtre de l'Atelier on 26 January 1932. She is also the author of the play in 3 acts, and 10 Paintings, La Princesse des Ursins, performed at the Théâtre de la Cité, Paris, on 16 January 1942. She died in Paris on 12 January 1968.
