Japanese royalty, the younger brother of Emperor Hirohito and 5th in line for the throne. During WW II, Takamatsu was an advisor to the Emperor and a Naval Captain. After the war he was active in cultural organizations and for a time, President of the Japanese Red Cross. He was married to Kikuko; no kids. He died 2/03/1987, Tokyo.
